He came to know of six sigma approach to quality management, through friends and acquaintances. He wanted to use Six Sigma Approach to quality management in HR, Administration, Quality health safety, and Environment departments of his company. He started his six sigma journey with Green Belt certification with Benchmark. Based on these courses, he had total shift in his thought processes where he can now think statistical way.

He feels that in day to day lives the decisions taken by experts on process improvement were never questioned, which not the case is after he got an overview of six sigma approach to quality. The group is now into bringing down zinc coating as a part of process improvement initiative, anything that they can cut down on zinc wastage would bring profit to the company. Process improvement in the area of zinc coating is their first target. Company is not implementing DMAIC tools by phase but he is sure that they would be working on DMAIC tools by phase soon.

He feels, Benchmark six sigma was amazing and an eye opener for various businesses.
