Shivasubramanian Chettiar works in a telecom company as a part of the operations team. He says that there is a general misconception that Six Sigma is primarily meant for the quality team or the business excellence team. Being in ITES, he has used Six Sigma and lean to improve efficiency and productivity in his operations team. Six Sigma is a methodology that anyone can implement to reap great benefits. He has used Six Sigma tools to improve CSAT and ESAT in his organization. He personally feels that a combination of lean and Six Sigma can do wonders to an organization and even take it to the point of becoming the market leader.
