  13. Hi Abhishek, Based on your Qualification (MBA) and Experience (7 Yrs in Retail Finance), it is certainly possible that you grow by enhancing your skills in the area of Quality/ Operations. For this, you will have to start your Six Sigma journey by doing a Green Belt first, after which it is recommended to apply your learning in your current domain by completing a project and then graduate to the next level i.e. Black Belt. 14. Hi Somidh You are most welcome and please feel free to contact for any further doubts that you may have. As for the Project, please be informed that it is not mandatory to complete and submit a Project after training, for Certification. You get a GB Certificate upon successfully completing the 4 days training and clearing the Exam that is conducted on the last day. Project is optional, but if done (for which we provide you with online project support after training), you get an additional Project Completion Certificate. Regards Shradha
  15. Hi Somidh Please be informed that after attending the 4 Days Green Belt Program with us, you shall be required to write a TEST on the last day, clearing which you are NOT only awarded a Training Certificate (for successful completion of the Training Program) , BUT you shall be a CERTIFIED Green Belt professional with thorough understanding of Six Sigma GB concepts with practical implementation of the same. I hope I have been able to bring about some clarity on this, but would appreciate if we could discuss this in detail. Please feel free to contact on our TOLL FREE Number 18001023003 or you can write your queries to [email protected]. Regards Shradha
  16. Hi Gouri Please note that you must possess Green Belt knowledge before you take up the Black Belt Program. By attending GB training, you learn the basic statistical tools used in Six Sigma, which is very essential for understanding other tools that form a part of the BB Curriculum. Green Belt program covers most common tools and techniques used in Six Sigma. Black Belt course provides competence on the high rigor statistical techniques that are used for major and more complex projects. Therefore it is required to be Green Belt Trained/ Certified first and then move on to the next level of Black Belt. To help you with a detailed answer to your question, I would request you to visit the following link - http://forum.benchmarksixsigma.com/topic/636-black-belt-without-green-belt/ For any further details, please write to me at [email protected] OR feel free to contact us on our TOLL FREE number 18001023003. 21. Dear All, The difference points are highlighted below. Our program provides universally applicable techniques and not "JUST" the techniques suitable to your current job profile. Our programs help you interact with people from varied companies/industries/functional areas and network and learn with them. Our programs have been developed using years of expertise in conducting programs (more than 5000 people trained). Our programs carry global recognition. Benchmark Six Sigma online forum (there is one exclusively for past participants) helps you apply learned techniques with advise from hundreds of others wo have applied them in the past. Benchmark Six Sigma programs have proven efficiency in helping people learn. The trainers for Green Belt are same who "train the trainers" and conduct Master Black Belt programs themselves. Our programs help you get career advancement opportunities. (in case you are looking out for them).
  22. Dear All, There is "No ideal time gap" There are several people who were comfortable with understanding of Green Belt techniques and went for BLACK BELT training "next week after attending Green Belt Training". They carried out their first project as a Black Belt project and moved fast. There are quite a few others who looked for an opportunity of doing a Green Belt project first, carried it out and then opted for Black Belt training. As both categories have been successful with their plans in many cases, it is unfair to say one approach is better than the other. The decision should be guided by the following Do you see an opportunity of taking up a Black Belt (cross functional, higher complexity) project soon? If yes, go for BB. Do you see a career progression benefit in doing a BB? (BB's are more in demand as compared to GB's) Do you feel that not continuing with BB training may create a gap and you may forget some of the concepts? (if yes, go for BB training early, 40% of GB gets revised in BB with usage of Minitab, which strengthens learning and application)
  23. Due to our highly researched methodology, pass percentage is 90% in many occasions. Some batches have 100% pass percentage also. You do need to study though during the training. You also get some pre-course material to go through when you register for training.
  24. Our Six Sigma course is actually Lean and Six Sigma amalgamation. It covers lean concepts (VA/NVA analysis) at Green Belt and Black Belt level. We call it Six Sigma because our accreditation board (RABQSA) decided to call it so. However for deep dive into lean we have another course which is called Lean Management Certification which can be taken additionally. So several people have gone for our GB + lean and there are few others who have gone through GB + BB + lean. You can rest assured that the key concepts of lean do get covered in GB + BB as well .
  25. Six Sigma is extremely useful in operations. The big reason for Six Sigma's success in operations is that output from operations can reliably be made more and more predictable with usage of Six Sigma. Also when you are a branch manager, you shall have opportunities of improving Branch's performance in many ways. You should be able to consider Black Belt soon after Green Belt to gain bigger benefits in your new role.
