Dear All, In my view Six Sigma Approach or rather New Six Sigma Approach hich focuses on Aligning , Mobilizing,Accelrating and Governing Strategic objectives is the Crux .Which tools we use will depend upon the Complexity of the project .It is interdisciplinary approach and hence a Cross Functional Team is Must to get anywhere. Dear Ranjit, Becoming Six Sigma Green belt is probably 1st step. It can help in job like yours only if your Boss/owner has open mind and is ready to accept . My experience as consultant for short time, to such Developers was not very encouraging. Please take up a project and take it to END. Thanks

I think it is Strategic mistake /blunder by TOYOTA which has gone into we are the Best mode and stopped Learning.TOYOTA does not seem to have strong Internal Audit and Risk management systems in place.Morever VOC is neglected and Safety has taken a backseat. As India we must Learn and think INDIAN WAY and keep TOYOTA WAY away.(A_WAY). Let All organisations start Training in YOG and Meditation and follow principeles of Bhagwad _Gita . In my opinion, India is poised to take up the challenge of implementing Six Sigma in Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution .
