Machine  having the capability  to report it's abnormal  behavior  and ability  to report something went wrong  as self improvement  reporting or analytical thinking could be the suitable concert  if Machine wants to be like Human thinking  or sense.

Nowadays artificial intelligence is on boom in every industry from automotive to service. It can affect business outcomes and can do more work in short time with accuracy than that work done manually with the help of workforce. For example in trading, share market calculations are calculated and forecasted within fraction of seconds, it will take some time if all goes manually. 

Similarly it can impact in automotive sector, manufacturing sector, food processing. Machine can handle more workload than humans and can deliver fast than humans if they starts to behave like humans then lot of workforce will be displaced and outcome of the business will be increased day by day and any organisation can deliver more products in market with the help of machines than manuals. 

Cost saving will be huge if work done by using artificial intelligence although there is need to spend more money initially to start work with artificial intelligence. Business outcome will be more accurate and precise. 

For example a machine is used to produce engine parts which is having many operation to. Finish the job, so by the programming in the machine, it is changing all tools automatically after every operation and a finished part with more accuracy and precision within short period of time comes out which is not possible manually. 

Another example in food industry of biscuits packing, sensor are there in packaging line, if there is any broken biscuit it will be sense by sensor and automatically thrown out from the packing line and ultimately customer will recieve good quality and if customers are satisfied with your quality then automatically your business will grow day by day.

The GOAL by Large Organizations & Industries is : Can we replace Human with a Machine? this, for all the benefits a Machine provides over a Human Being !! The Limitations that a Human being brings along will be out of the window, if the Positives of Human beings can be incorporated into the Machines !! This makes Machines, a Better Choice [ If there is a Choice !! ]

YMy two cents on this topic... Artificial intelligence takes it's significance at those areas where repetitive tasks or scope of self help is at abundance scope. While it helps business from cost optimization stand point, for customers it is more of quicker time to resolve. The need to check the intelligence of machines are very high where we have sensitive data. For example, banking system AI has to be smart enough to interpret complete query and present answers as the output in such cases could be personal finance data. If the machine picks up only keywords and presents output the risk of presenting one customer financial to other will be high and can be disastrous. We have heard last issues on machines where private conversations were sent on emails to the distribution list as it picked key words and misinterpreted the instructions. Checks and balances should ensure risk free application.

Whether machines can behave like humans or not has been an intriguing question for a long time. Why do we want to know this? 

 

The quest can be divided into into two parts - 

 

1. Can machines behave as rationally as humans can? Since IBM’s Deep Blue had beaten Kasparov in a game of chess, more powerful computers have come in. The latest chess software called Komodo has an Elo rating as high as 3304 which is 450 above any human. Such evaluation and mastery is certainly of interest to the excellence community. 

 

2. Can machines imitate humans and be similar even in irrational behaviours? This question is of interest to security experts who want to know if certain actions are being taken by computer (viruses, for example) instead of humans. Many times computers fail to behave irrationally and give away their presence due to patterns. As an example, computer virus can bring in thousands of fictitious members into a forum or online community by creating fake email ids and even clicking on verification emails by logging in to those email addresses. Google and other online companies have been creating anti spam solutions by figuring out patterns that the computers fail to match with humans. Most of the times computers tend to be more rational than humans as they have an algorithm driving them. Only time will tell if the fight with viruses will be won by well meaning humans or not.
