Vishwadeep Khatri posted a question in We ask and you answer! The best answer wins!
Q 513. PAT (Profit After Tax), Free Cash Flow and ROI (Return on Investment) are the 3 more common metrics to check the financial health of the organization. If Free Cash Flow is the top priority for the business, will this mean that the Lean Six Sigma projects will need to be different from a scenario where PAT is the top priority? Explain with examples. Return on Investment (ROI)
Vishwadeep Khatri posted a question in We ask and you answer! The best answer wins!
Q 346. The fundamental idea behind the Kaizen approach is that small changes add up to a big one. In such an approach, should the emphasis be on justifying the change (via ROI) or should it be on empowering people to make these small changes? Can over-emphasis on ROI’s of such minor improvements undermine the value of empowering people to identify and make such changes? Q 221. Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV) and Return on Investment (ROI) are the most common financial metrics used for comparing investments and their value. Each metric provides a different perspective and hence one is preferred over the other. Compare their characteristics and highlight situations (for each) where one is preferred over the others.
