  2. Hi Vishwadeep, What if there is a Supplier quality assurance function in In-house production, and additionally we have a governing/monitoring body as Supplier Management with below responsibility- ♦ Ensuring the onboarding of suppliers ♦ Governance of on-time execution at suppliers ♦ Providing continuous support during execution and monitoring data correctness/completeness into the reporting system ♦ Performance management of suppliers ♦ Evaluate supplier compliance ♦ On time and accurate invoicing and performance payouts to suppliers ♦ Facilitating RCA’s, new process/tools deployment and driving continual process improvement at suppliers What is your view on such activities, what & How can be implemented/built to cut the waste? any reference!!!
  3. In my experience, I have seen that Supplier management, being a governance party do a few of the tasks the same as the In-house or Supplier. Most of the time is either being spent in making a repository of actions or artifacts. Wondering how(if) Six Sigma can be implemented for such governing parties which are not involved directly into production or Inspection(quality) department?
