January 12, 201016 yr Hi,I just wanted get the certification on Six-Sigma..Well, i have done basic training on the same while i was working in IBM-DAKSH, kolkata.Regards,Sunita D. Biswas
March 6, 201016 yr Dear Sunita Though your basic at IBM Daksh must surely have been a value addition, but such in-house sessions are often customised for that particular organisation. Secondly, the level of such courses is usually similar to Yellow Belt (covering a preliminary introduction Six Sigma basics). If you want to further develop a realistic and application based knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies like Fishbone analysis, Design of Experiments, FMEA, CP and CPK, I strongly recommend you a Six Sigma Green Belt Training. To see the upcoming dates, you may see our calendar. For more information on Green Belt course, you may call at 1800-102-3003 (Toll Free) Please feel free to contact me here fir further assistance. Warm regards AbhishekM
March 10, 201016 yr Dear Ranjit,Becoming Six Sigma Green belt is probably 1st step. It can help in job like yours only if your Boss/owner has open mind and is ready to accept .My experience as consultant for short time, to such Developers was not very encouraging. Please take up a project and take it to END. Thanks
