Hello,

I was in the ITeS sector in Delhi for almost 7-8 years. For family reasons, I had to return to my home place in Guwahati - Assam.

Unlike Delhi, the Cutomer Service, ITeS, BPO are not the buzzword here. So I had to enter the EDUCATION industry. Currently I am working as a Branch Manager (Guwahati) in one of the Educational Groups (All India Based).

Now I am hoping to complete Six Sigma - GB from Kolkata, this July.

My Questions:

1. Will someone please tell me the exact benifit & proceedure of applying Six Sigma in Education Business?

2. I also have a offer to join as Manager - Quality in another Education Bussiness, if I complete my Six Sigma GB, will I able to benifit?

Look for pain areas where you need to do deep diving for cause and solution analysis. Your pain areas (or those based on VoC of your customers) are best known to you. If you need help please type in the pain areas based on VoB and VoC, and we can jointly explore if some of them are worth Six Sigma rigour.

For your offer to join as Manager - Quality in another Education Business, please be informed that to be able to grow in the field of Quality, you will certainly require Six Sigma knowledge and for that you will have to begin with the first level i.e. Green Belt, after which if needed, you may graduate to other higher levels such as Black Belt and then Master Black Belt. So, I would recommend you to do the upcoming GB Program in Kolkata from 29 July - 01 August' 2010 and integrate the subject in your career.
