How do we implement DMAIC on a project which decreases the Credit Exposure . Example if I have 100 customers with total credit limit of $100000, I identify there are few customers (for example -10 customers) which are inactive and then I decrease the credit limit of those . There by reducing the overall credit exposure for these customers from a total of $100000 to $90000.

You will be able to apply the DMAIC methodology for a problem where the cause of the problem and the solution to the problem are unknown.

 

Hence, you first need to identify the problem and then proceed. Basis the description that you provide, it appears you already know the solution.
