Dear All, I am writing/sharing this, hoping that I get some better suggestions to handle some crazy situations in my project. Here it goes: Like any other projects I do have quality & attrition issues in my project. There was an incentive plan in place for a period of time, but it was a flop, because the project still had attrition & quality issues, that gave me an impression like 'people really don't care for additional money?'. But, my other understanding is that there should be some gaps that are not addressed in that incentive plan. At last I found one reason that the incentive plan has been designed to maintain 98% qualitative deliverable wherein SLA numbers are 95% & the guys are not able to reach 98% incentive qualifying threshold due to frequent process changes/updates from the client. But we can't compromise on the quality standards as there is another vendor to the client giving good quality standards & we both are going for project renewal in next 9 months. So, the executive management brainstormed & came to a conclusion that a better incentive plan than the previous with the following 3 major objectives will address the issues. The objective of the new incentive plan are (a) A min of 96% quality has to be maintained ( No attrition for next 2 quarters © Generate new & value-added ideas/deliverable's to impress Client. Ofcouse, quite a good budget has been allocated for the proposed incentive plan. Now, it's on my head to handle this & come up with the proposed better incentive plan at the earliest. So, I want you to suggest me how do I check whether the proposed plan will really work-out, like what is the probability to succeed with the new incentive plan? Will it really address the issues? If it is not, I have to meet my top brass with all statistical data with all math numbers to explain & convince them to alter their plan at the earliest. If you think that it is possible to succeed with the proposed incentive plan, please give me some inputs to start working on the data. Thanks in advance for your kind suggestions Regards, Putrayya
