Our goals and objectives in life is ingrained to exhibit excellence and we strive hard to achieve that in life. Excellence is like an umbrella that covers me and my belongings from the shower of flaws
This phenomenon of excellence begins with "me". So, achieving personal excellence is living a conscious life by identifying, leveraging and furnishing my skill sets to achieve my goals in life.
The most important part of achieving personal excellence is how effectively I perform my task. So, process excellence is intertwined with my effectiveness and efficiency that minimises waste and avoids rework, saving time and resources. Now the next step is to gauge if what I am doing is in right direction or no. So, achieving operational excellence is to achieve the targeted metrics and quantify the efforts to ensure if it is made in right direction. And finally the ensemble of perfection (ideally) of all the people and process is the business excellence.
Now let's put it in business perspective and understand its relation. The phenomenon starts with recruitment wherein a candidate's life anchors should be aligned to organization objective. In other words, he/she should be culturally fit in organization. If personal excellence is achieved by that person, he/she could exhibit and perform to carry process excellence. This will help in achieving business metrics like customer retention & acquisition, cost saving, revenue generation and minimization of waste. And ultimately all this will culminate to achieve business excellence.
In short, all the above-mentioned terms are interlinked with each other and it is difficult to achieve business goals if any one of it is eliminated.

Personal Excellence: It is the amalgamation of innate qualities and surrounding that we live in. So, the basic idea is to have that learning approach throughout to furnish the skills. Most importantly, from business perspective one has to be accommodative and ready to take ownership of task to fit into any organization. Besides, one should have faith in self, get out of one's comfort zone, be decisive and be constant learner to excel personally
Process Excellence: Many companies strive to be process centric rather than people centric. It is all about improving the way businesses create and deliver value to the customers. We have plenty of tools to streamline the process to minimum waste and rework. Besides these tools, active participation from employees is also of prime importance. Leveraging tools and People Management can be useful to achieve this excellence
Operational Excellence: The ultimate aim of the company is to maximize profits. It is more broader and strategic aspect that strives to achieve sustainability .However, the objective and goal of the company should be in unison with all the employees to achieve operational excellence. This involves proper assignment of responsibilities, clear goal setting and effective communication among all the employees.
Business Excellence: I am sure if the above terms are streamlined and exhibited well then half the work is done to achieve business excellence. For that every aspect of business leadership, strategy, customer focus, information management, people and process should be meticulously looked upon considering business goals.
To sum up, there is a high dependency of each of these terms on one another. However, each of them should be streamlines separately one by one to get on the ladder of business success.
