Personal excellence is the ability of an employee to develop him as a complete, highly skilled and professional. It is like becoming an ordinary employee to an extra ordinary employee. This is the responsibility of the top management to drive everybody towards the excellence. Process excellence is a near to perfect process that can satisfy or delight the customer. Process excellence can be achieved through various techniques such as lean, six sigma etc. An ordinary employee can maintain the process, but cannot improve it a better manner. Though many automation for various process had come to reduce human effort and time, it is the personal who maintain it. Whatever automation may come, there must be a decision maker. The personal excellence plays a major role in the decision making. This is where thr personal excellence play a major role in process excellence. So process excellence can be facilitated a person who is competent and thrives for excellence. P Ex involves the study of process, metrics, deviations leading towards the customer satisfaction an voice of process. In an organization, there are several processes. One process does not define organization's capability. So all the processes are interrelated and interactive processes. Only when all processes are controlled and monitored , this leads to operational excellence. This organizing and studyin of all processes in some carried out the quality team and the management representative. Again the personal excellence shall play a major role. The team shall be competent and self driven for personal excellence. All the levels og all processes always contains the quest of personal excellence. Operational excellence involves leadership, motivation, principles and tools for sustainment for the improvement. Business excellence is the highest level in an organization. This includes strategic decision making, thinking of constraints, innovations and technologies, CAPA, ROI. Business excellence shall be achieved by exceeding the voice of customer and the voice of business and cost of poor quality. Business excellence shall also be thinking the change to be carried and how to tackle the resistance for the change. The personal excellence shall only lead to all kinds of other excellence. The organization which has employees with personal excellence shall have their process in place, operations as planned and business as predicted. But some processes need not have personal excellence. For ex. If a training institute wants the details of participants and it allows the participant to fill up and the back end just retrieves the report, no need for a competent personal excellence employee required. This shall be decided by the personal excellence who reduced the cycle time and work effort of the process. Since process are interactive and interrelated, the excellences are also interactive and interdependent.
