Tripta Chaudhary replied to Vishwadeep Khatri's topic in We ask and you answer! The best answer wins!Personal Excellence Excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well. The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential, these are the keys to personal excellence. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit. The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor. Moral excellence comes about as a result of habit. We become just by doing just acts, temperate by doing temperate acts, brave by doing brave acts. If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop the habit in little matters. Excellence is not an exception, it is a prevailing attitude. Dreams can become a reality when we possess a vision that is characterized by the willingness to work hard, a desire for excellence, and a belief in our right and our responsibility to be equal members of society. Process Excellence: Process excellence is about process effectiveness and efficiency. It requires processes to be designed and improved for consistent delivery with minimum variation and minimum waste. It is the domain of Six Sigma and Lean. Strategy of process excellence revolves around designing and refining processes which deliver as per customer expectation with least dependency on people. Process Excellence help teams by looking to standardize and increase efficiency in current processes and procedures, and increase organizational effectiveness by offering transparency in the way teams work together. It defines two things. How we work, and how we work together. It creates a framework for continuous process and business performance improvement. Unique approach that is based on data analysis which reduces defects in the process .An approach focused on empowering an organization to create and sustain transformations through transfer of knowledge in terms of infrastructure, strategy, methodology & tools. Operations Excellence: Operational excellence is often confused with process excellence however operational excellence is broader than this. It builds on the concept of end-to-end process flows in core and support processes, including organization’s culture (and with it HR) in its domain. It requires the organization to ensure staff understands how the organization works as a value creation system, and to have structures and empowerment that enable people to fix problems when necessary. Operational Excellence is an element of organizational leadership that stresses the application of a variety of principles, systems, and tools toward the sustainable improvement of key performance metrics. It is combination of strategy to improve overall efficiency by focusing on people, process and technology. Business Excellence: Business excellence is about achieving excellence in everything that an organization does including leadership, strategy, customer focus, information management, people and processes and most importantly achieving superior business results. Business Excellence are frameworks that, when applied within an organization, can help to focus thought and action in a more systematic and structured way that should lead to increased performance. Business excellence is defined as outstanding practices in managing the organization and achieving results, all based on a set of eight fundamental concepts: · Results orientation · Customer focus · Leadership and constancy of purpose · Management by processes and facts · People development and involvement · Continuous learning, innovation and improvement · Partnership development · Public responsibility Thanks!
