    OEE has 3 components: Availability Rate (measure of downtime) Performance Rate (measure of output rate) Quality Rate (measure of OOS product). OEE is calculated as AR*PR*QR To achieve 100% OEE all three need to be 100%. This is difficult to achieve in real scenarios since every equipment would have downtime due to shift changeover, breakdown, routine maintenance etc.
