1. First call for Brain storming session to have an idea. Please define your Management Objective from that.

2. Form a team (Champion, Lead, Team member). Assign task for them.

1. Salesman Performance.

2. Market performance (Gold rate)

Thanks for your response and it has really given me further drive into the idea. The major objective here is to improve the salesman performance which demand soft skill training. So, how a six sigma project could help improving their performance?

If the solution is known (soft skills training), there is no need to carry out a Six Sigma project.

Known solution requires "Just Do It" method to resolve the problem/concern. No additional steps are required.

Hi Velu,

To evaluate the performance of the salesman, Please have a track of sales for the month. Announce the best performer for the month (who done the more sales).

To convince the customers please follow the below strategy.

1. Convince the customers

2. Compromise the customers (comparing the rates with the other shops).

3. Else go ahead and confuse the customers by saying (This is the valuable products you are mising or else Say "Thank You" for with us and you are most welcome.

The above are the most valuable points which will surely show some drastic change in salesman response to the customers.

  • Objectives

For any project for Six Sigma objectives should be derived from Strategic view of the management or Marketing or the problem area. So identify the best suit as per your case.

  • Identification of target areas

Based on the brainstorming sessions with the team identify the target area which could be beneficial.

  • Key performance factors

Identify the key performance factors for the objectives identified.
