I am Masters in Computer Applications (MCA) and working as a Senior Technical Writer in an MNC in Gurgaon, Haryana. I am quite keen on going for a Green Belt certification. My main concerns are:

1. Can I go for a Green Belt certification inspite of being associated with another field instead of Quality?

2. What would be my approach (after getting Green Belt certified) while documenting a software application?

3. Can I utilize my existing work experience after attaining the Green Belt? If Yes, How?

4. What areas can I switch after the successful completion of Green Belt certification in an IT company?

5. How will I be responsible for improving the documentation processes in my company?

Can someone answer my query? I am of the perception that Six Sigma can be applied to any domain and anyone can do Six Sigma who is inclined towards quality. Am I right Guys?
