i am undergoing a course in embedded system design from ducat institute. please guide me how six sigma can be applicable in this field.

You can plan for DFSS to make the design itself robust avoiding all foreseen failures with FMECA, conducing DOE and use QFD to know all customer/process requirements for a robust product.
