September 7, 200916 yr Hi, I'm curious to know how difficult/easy it is to be recruited into a six sigma career without having any kind of degree with it? I've worked within the telecommunications business for 10 years and wonder if the experience would compare to a recent graduate?
September 8, 200916 yr Dear Chris, Six Sigma career requires some aptitude and inclination for basic maths to start with. Someone with years of experience need not worry about a formal degree to benefit from Six Sigma. Hope this answers your question. Regards, VK
September 8, 200916 yr I agree with Mr. Khatri, In fact, a high-school education with an aptitude for maths/ stats with good professional experience (3-5 years of process knowledge) should be good enough to get into Lean / Six sigma career starting from Green belt certification. Regards, Ari
