Hi All,

I plan to carry out a Six Sigma Project for the above mentioned topic .to give more emphasis on what im trying to say is basically , most of our accounts go in for renewals  only after they get expired. Im looking at a process as well which can streamline the entire Renewal mechanism and ensure that the renewals happen well before expiry.

And the other activity is known as Farming, where in based on the current offering to our clients we run the project , if in case the client requests for additional project, a new contract is signed in over and above the existing contract and the project commences.

To summarise i need to streamline both these processes for the organistaion, if any of you could throw some light on the above topic, it would be of great help.

Rgds,

Thomas Mathew

Dear Mathew,

The focus area for first project seems quite clear. You may like to chose your metric as timeliness of renewals. Your goal can be improving timeliness of renewals from A% to B% within 6 months..

The second project needs to have a well defined metric and goal which may need some thinking.

If your objective is just streamlining the process to make it more structured, you may just use process mapping techniques and lean methods.

Best Regards,
