James Cameron says the idea of generative AI creating actors and performances is “horrifying”, stressing that he never wants to replace real actors. While he sees value in cheaper VFX, he fears original sci-fi films are becoming rare. "I don't want a computer doing what I pride myself on being able to do with actors. I don't want to replace actors, I love working with actors," he added.
