OpenAI is buying startup Statsig in an all-stock deal worth $1.1 billion. Statsig’s CEO, Vijaye Raji, will lead product engineering at OpenAI, focusing on ChatGPT and Codex. The move comes just a few months after OpenAI acquired Jony Ive's former startup, io Products. Statsig will stay independent but operate under OpenAI from its Seattle office.
