I am not sure where you can get case studies on this item, however for KPI's you can visit the website www.smartkpis.com

I am planning to start a project on the same concept or reducing time taken form Customer Order to Delivery. But I will be first using lean then will get on to sigma concepts.

This will largely depend upon how your supply chain is structured and industry type.Most of supply chain KPI will require to be defined specifically to your processes.However, there are few generic ones e.g. inventory turns etc that may be universally monitored.
