Correlation between a Binary & Continuous Variable

Featured Replies

I want to draw a correlation between price change (binary variable - 0 or 1) and unit conversion rate (Units Sold/  Glance View) for a ecommerce marketplace.

Another is between the presence of high quality image (again binary) and unit conversion rate.

How can I go about it?

Hi Lavanya,

Check if there is a significant difference in the unit conversion rate when the price change happens. This can be studied by comparing two data sets with each other (one for no proce change and one for price change0. You can follow this link to understand the test to be used - https://www.benchmarksixsigma.com/guide-to-right-hypothesis-test/

Same will be the case for absence or presence of high quality image which creates two data sets of unit conversion rates (one for absence of image and the other for presence of image) over a period of time.

Hope this helps.
