I have spent many hours online trying to download a paper/presentation about a successful/unsuccessful implementation of Six Sigma in an inventory management system – workshop & warehouse on one side, unsatisfied customer on another.

 

After downloading a paper No. 100, I thought it needed another approach. Many users seems to be active in this forum. I would appreciate any feedback. Could you help, please?

The link you have provided does not relate to inventory management. It leads to "Understanding lifetimes and failure modes of defective washing machines and dishwashers". Please provide the correct link.

The enclosed paper is targeting mainly washing machines and dishwasher. It was meant to be an example, as its content and references could be used for a Lean Six Sigma study. 

 

I am more into power tools which are smaller but I wasn't able to locate any interesting papers.

Thanks for your response. Here is my suggestion - Instead of looking for an end to end DMAIC case study in your areas of interest, you may look for examples in following areas -  

1. Use of DOE in power tools. 
2. Simulation driven optimization in Inventory Management Systems. 
3. Creativity and Innovation in Inventory Management. 
4. Using Theory of Constraints for inventory flow improvement. 
5. Using Lean for Inventory Management. 
6. Use of RPA/ AI in Inventory Management.  

We have built our Business Excellence Master Black Belt program which integrates (or links with) the above approaches.
