April 23, 201412 yr One of the most challenging assignment which most leaders would always say is Changing the Organization Culture . Putting this scenario in our Quality context, now the question is How to assess whether the organization possess quality culture? . As professional, I hope this could be the biggest footstep which need to be taken before deploying the quality professional into any organization. By performing this assessment will lead us to figure the CTS (Critical to success) elements and CTSs could be training people on Quality Concepts, etc.., now this is the assignment I am currently working on and help required is how to assess ? April 25, 201412 yr Hi Gopi, organization culture is a very BIG word. what is culture to one organization might be different to different organization... first define what is culture. a quality culture can be defined interms 1. certifications the company has received ( iso...) 2. Awards from 3rd party survey agencies3. Awards from Quality bodies- outside usually a quality culture is evident from quality policy of the organization. next step: how is this quality culture implemented in the organization- is it alive and working or just in paper quality audits frequencyquality results (KPI) exist in company? next step is identify: what sucess means to the company.... increasing profit or reducing wastage or reducing rework etc etc.. assessing all this and then measuring the outcome interms of points or yes/no questions will be a good place to start
