I highlighted at that forum that it is a mistake to consider GMP as the greatest achievement. Without revealing the names of companies, I am happy to say that our association has paid some rich dividends in this sector.
February 19, 200917 yr There is nothing much to disagree with you after my 12 years stint with pharma (in projects and maintenance). Nevertheless, fair comparison can't be done without taking human factor into picture. Whether it is cGMP or ISO the game is to get the certification and these are snap shot audits. You can be successful even without having to fully complying the standards. On the other hand, six sigma success is only visible if the company benefits from its practices and there is no intermediate way.
