Master Black Belt Trained certificate shall be awarded on successful completion of training and clearing the examination.

MBB certification can be achieved by candidates who provide evidence for all of the following criteria within three years of MBB training:

  • Complete the prescribed curriculum and get 60% or more in examination,
  • Complete 2 Black Belt level six sigma projects (or) Mentor 5 Green Belt / Black Belt level Six Sigma projects,
  • Attend a structured training on Lean Thinking, Concepts and Tools. (Although it is recommended that participations go through Lean program before MBB training, it can be undertaken after MBB training).
