Six Sigma Projects In Healthcare Bpo

Featured Replies

Hi,

In a healthcare BPO, the following are the main processes;

1. Accounts Receiveables

2. Coding

3. Charge Entry

4. Cash Posting

5. Credentialling

6. Lead Generation

Since I am new to Six Sigma, I will be of great help if some one can provide me sample topics or case studies in the above mentioned areas to drive six sigma in my organisation.

Thanks

Arun

Arun,

Six Sigma talks about the process improvements. Overall Process Improvement for any process is done by improving the performance of various components (SLA's) of the process.

Each SLA has data to show the performance which measured against the targets provided by the client.

Initally you have to look at the client staisfaction ofor the various process. If the client is satisfied then you can look forward to work on initiatives whoich could act as delighters to the client.

However, if the SLA's have not been performing up to the required client standards then you could focus on the improvement.

I would recommed you to first review this part and look for the problem area's, then only you can move forward to next level.

Hope it helps to initiate your plans....
