Gage R&R disposition can be decided based on the R&R findings. Can you let me know if the "R&R Total variation" or the "R&R Tolerance" has to be considered. There are some s/w which consider both the above. The disposition wrt acceptable or not acceptable varies in both the cases. If so how can we interpret the same to the Minitab analysis (I believe Minitab considers % tolerance as the acceptance criteria)? Sridhar

Hi, We have 2 sets of data, one is the mean and the other its corresponding Std. deviation. We have independent targets for both against which they are tracked. Can you let us know if there is any way of combining the two into an equivalent single metric and project. Thanks Sridhar
