    Its a good write up and yes does give quite an insight on D3M. You have put it across in a way most of us can easily accept and understand. In my opinion D3M has existed as long as man, earlier as well any decision depended on the something, i.e. data. Yes with advent of more data the complexity of data analysis has increased and here D3M is a good approach.
