Global Mobility is a domain which handles expatriate assignments end to end.

This involves following

Talent Hunting,

Immigration,

Cost Projections to determine assignment costs,

Budgeting,

GL accounting,

Relocation Management : Handling employee relocation (shifting, moving etc)

International Taxation 

The listed items are not exhaustive, but a basic day to day function of Global Mobility personnel

 

You can evry well apply six sigma In this Domain.Starting from the first point TALENT HUNTING - you may measure some of the KPI like what is Time taken for talent hunt,What is the Hit rate ,How to make hassle free immigration , You may also look at your client satisfaction score for immigration( You may take this data askig your client to fill up some survey questionaire)

So far as cost projection is concerend you may work on accuracy of forecasting,agian on budgeting you may look at accuracy and Timeline for providing budget to your customer.

Simillarly in relocation management you can apply six sigma ,Best way to do this is look for some historical data and find out some operational challenges while you relocate your client and then try to make that process simple.

You can apply Lean as well as six sigma to enhance your customer expereince which will help you to create differenatiation in market place.
