I am software Engg. who did coding for initial 6 months? After that, I am doing process improvement work based on IEEE -12207 standards. Now, I am having a total exp. of 2yrs 8 months or so. I am working in Govt. setup right now. We have established process; organizational, primary as well as supporting the process by tuning the standard process defines; prepared templates, verification checklists; participate in internal process audits, facilitated external audits, introduced metrics, formal planning and using some case tools. We are still in the process improvement mode.

 

Now, I want to switch to private companies. Please, tell me how much GB, BB will help me to switch into private & what kind of companies & job position will be apt to me.

 

My current qualification is B.E. Computer science

Its a good time to change as you have basic exp of more than 2 yrs.

GB,BB will help you a lot.

As you are software engg. man so its better to look for same industry. Now a days plenty of opportunities are there for the same.
