I am in a kind of process where accuracy i critical. In short i, on a routine basis need to check if particular cases are being correctly handled by team members. each member on an average does 30 cases a day with an average of 21 working days month . its not possible to check all of them for accuracy. with 4.75 current sigma level what can be a good sample size?

I have seen the sample size calculator and would like know more about expected proportion and power of test.

When the population size is small, we usually find that we end up having to sample a relatively large percentage of the population.

Sampling is very effective when the populations we are dealing with are very large.
