Engaging and Interactive Session on Model Building Using Simulations
By using Monte Carlo simulations, the workshop provided us with an understanding at the granular level as to how variations amongst assumptions can affect the certainty of forecast(s) and which of these variations should be targeted first based on a sensitivity analysis, tornado chart, and Spider chart, for further improvement. Got some interesting insights on how effective predictive and prescriptive models cab be built taking into considerations all the assumptions and decision criteria.
