Announcement: Six Sigma leadership takes the trauma out of change- a Lean Six Sigma Change

The purpose of Six Sigma is to organize, analyze and promote the best people and business processes to increase effectiveness and profitability. The use of Six Sigma leadership tools helps in making the change accepting process easier and simpler for everyone.

The management and people must be informed about company’s current financial situation and the Lean Six Sigma change that will incorporated before Lean Six Sigma principles are implemented. A heads up about the Lean Six Sigma change to be brought in, will prepare the employees and Lean Six Sigma Leadership an also, will take care of their anxiety. Throughout the process of change, the focus of Lean Six Sigma leadership must be only the final outcomes. Implementing Lean Six Sigma change needs commitment, vision and by all levels of leadership.

Quick change and high quality commitments from team members and leaders can be generated as a result of urgency. All Lean Six Sigma Leadership seeking change make use of urgency to keep their process of change running.

Leadership must always be aware, understanding and committed. Leadership must put the goals with absolute clarity in front of employees at all levels and be sensitive to feedback it receives from all team members. Team members must be informed before hand about any changes being made to the job duties.

The most difficult thing is to convince people to agree to the change and accept it. To have the team members agree with the changes, they must be involved in problem analysis and solution creation.
